Save your new born baby from disability and Death.

Many diseases, which causes death or life long disability like Dwarf, bi-sexual, unable to speak (autism), mental problem, Epilepsy, hearing problem, vision problem etc are affect of defective gene and are inborn in nature. This can be treated in govt hospital and private (through Health cards), if detected early soon after birth. New Born Screening test of all new born babies conducted soon after birth (preferably within two weeks after birth), to check if the baby has any such causes in blood. These diseases can’t be noticed by physical examination, baby will not show any symptoms as well. Without blood test babies Health status can’t be said. In case of any finding in tests, treatment will be started before beginning of disease. New Born Screening Test of every new born Baby is a provision of Govt, laid in Rastriya Bal Swasthya Karyakrama. But this is not in action. Public awareness is only way to save a child from this dangerous condition. September is New Born Screening Awareness Month; so it an appeal to educated people to be part of this campaign and to intimate it to their contacts so that awareness among people will rise, the parents of forthcoming babies will stay prepare to save the baby from invisible danger and parents of recently born babies will get their babies screened too.
